Hardware Test Engineer - 1771952693 - Torino - (TO)

The Automotive Division of TXT E-Tech S.r.l., a TXT Group company, is looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to join its team of experts at the customer's site and who will be responsible for activities focused on electronic control unit (ECU) test developments.

Main activities:

Analysis of requirements and technical specifications, interpreting electrical and schematic drawings in order to understand product characteristics and highlight critical issues;
Definition of test concept design, methodologies, processes and procedures for ECUs in the automotive field;
Designing and putting into production automated test systems (ATE), test sequences and procedures in order to verify and validate ECUs by measuring and verifying the physical and functional characteristics of electronic circuits;
Building and maintaining contacts with suppliers, internal teams and divisions in order to support development;
Support activities to manufacturing plants for industrialization and maintenance of products.
Technical skills required:

Experience in reading and understanding technical requirements;
Ability to analyze and understand ECU and PCBA schematics and layouts with microcontrollers on 32bit architecture;
Good knowledge of hardware testing and measurement techniques for analog and digital signals;
Established skills in electronics and measurement theory;
Experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.);
Good knowledge of basic computer tools (Microsoft environment) and tools for processing test types.
Optional technical skills:

Knowledge of testing management in mass production;
Knowledge of production machine architectures and automated test equipment (ATE) systems;
Knowledge of statistical methods of analysis according to FMEA methodology;
Knowledge of embedded software and systems;
nowledge of NI test environment, Labview and TestStand;
Knowledge of major automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
Required education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent.

Good knowledge of English, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to manage and schedule activities in the short, medium and long term, proactivity and aptitude for problem solving complete the profile.
