The Role

Herzum is looking for a Payments Specialist with strong experience in scoping and structuring complex initiatives, to join our team and support one of our Clients in the banking sector. The consultant will support the initial phase of a Payments platform transformation, working closely with the Program Director and the internal client teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Scoping & Leadership

Lead the scoping phase of the Payments platform initiative.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities during this phase.
Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables aligned with business priorities.

2. Program Structuring

Design the overall structure of the Payments program, including:
- Identification of key contributors and stakeholders.
- Establishment of governance and reporting frameworks.
- Definition of roles, responsibilities, and communication flows.

3. Current State Analysis

Conduct a detailed analysis of the existing Payments landscape within the MVP scope.
Identify current services, system limitations, and operational constraints.
Map dependencies and integration points with other banking systems.

4. Feasibility Study

Initiate and lead feasibility assessments for services not currently available in self-care, such as:
- Virtual IBANs.
- Digital cards.
- Other innovative payment functionalities.
Evaluate technical, operational, and regulatory implications of introducing these services.

Profile Requirements:

Deep expertise in Payments systems and platforms within the banking sector.
Proven experience in project scoping, feasibility studies, and program structuring.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Fluent in French with a good command of English and Italian.

Work mode: Hybrid (Paris office / Remote) but should be located in Paris.
