Front-end Software Engineer (bim) - 218 - (Remote working - Totale)

For a customer in the broadcasting sector, we are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:
• design, build and support high performance, scalable and innovative frontend components;
• partner with our frontend, backend engineering and SRE teams to build and deploy services;
• help build a culture of good engineering processes and practices;
• work in Agile environment.


Candidates should have:
• at least 3+ years of relevant professional experience;
• proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript;
• deep understanding of different programming paradigms, in particular: object-oriented and functional programming;
• practical knowledge in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns and software/tools;
• ability to write OO/functional/modular code;
• experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, Angular, React);
• experience with build and dependency management tools;
• ability to write responsive / fluid website using HTML (5) and CSS (3);
• understanding of browser resource management;
• working knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP and the understanding of what makes a RESTful API great;
• knowledge of at least one additional programming language;
• experience with distributed VCS (Git);
• familiarity with CI/CD tools;
• familiarity with Agile development process (Scrum, TDD).

Remote working is required.

Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills are also required.

Fluency in the English language is a prerequisite.
