The Role
For one of our Partners, we are seeking a skilled GCP Architect with at least 3-5 years of proven experience. The GCP Architect will support the Legacy Apps workstream, which involves migrating approximately 40 applications over the next 3-4 years. The architect will work closely with other teams to migrate on-premise environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), collaborating with our current resources responsible for governance from a project management perspective.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess the current (As-is) architecture.
- Design the future (To-be) architecture on GCP, in accordance with corporate standards.
- Collaborate with on-premise application vendors to gather necessary migration requirements.
- Interface with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Germany for provisioning various GCP environments.
What We Expect from You:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in cloud architecture, specifically with GCP.
- Strong understanding of on-premise to cloud migration processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
- Languages: Native-level Italian with fluent English.
Hybrid working: availability to work on-site 3 days out of 5 (Northern Milan area).
