The Role
Herzum is seeking an Application Project Manager to join our team and support one of our Clients in the retail sector. The project involves the implementation of an existing Salesforce platform in a specific country (to be adapted to the local context), carried out by the client’s internal delivery factory (functional and technical teams), with the involvement of corporate business and country business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the IT delivery of the Salesforce project (fourth country implemented).
- Planning, understanding of functional and process context.
- Manage timelines and operational activities: meetings and minutes, urgent tasks and requirement tracking.
- Ensure compliance with the delivery lifecycle: testing, data migration, integration.
- Support CRM and functional processes (orders, invoicing, sales, appointments, stock).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as PM/PMO with 3-5 years in IT projects (software implementation, business processes).
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is essential. This includes familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or DevOps, and the ability to manage each phase of the lifecycle—requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the delivery lifecycle and management of CRM/Salesforce projects.
- Familiarity with frontend processes: orders, sales, invoicing, stock.
- Ability to adapt to changes and work under tight deadlines.
- Monitoring, stakeholder management, escalation of critical issues to the point of contact.
- Flexibility, ability to anticipate problems, and stress management.
- Languages: fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
Nice to have: Salesforce expertise.
Work mode: partially remote (3/5 on-site, variable) in Milan.
