Role and responsibilities
You will be part of the practice Data Platform & AI, an area that takes care of an area that takes care of Data Engineering & Data Management.
In particular you will be involved in the development of comprehensive Cloud Data Platform solutions, contributing to the definition of solutions and the achievement of our customer's objectives through full involvement in all phases of project management: Analysis, Design, Test, Build and Deploy.
You will be responsible for:
● Carry out analysis sessions with customers to collect both functional and technical requirements on business processes
● Design a software architecture to support the solution, specifically in a Cloud environment
● Design and implementation of ETL flows (es. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Glue, DataFlow,...);
● Design and Development of solutions based on Data Lake, Lakehouse and relational Database (es. SQL DB, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, Redshift, Aurora, BigQuery, ....);
● Design and Development of notebooks using Python and/or Scala, Spark.
● Conducting UAT sessions with customers stakeholders
● Training of junior consultants on the technologies listed above
Required Skills?
● At least 2-3 years on ETL tool experience (such as ODI, Data Stage, Informatica or Talend) or in Cloud Data Platform (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
● A strong interest for programming
● A strong interest for Cloud and Analytics
● Excellent knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres SQL…)
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills in mixed groups (i.e. clients, other suppliers and colleagues)
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
● Nice to have: previous experience with principal Cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS)
