For one of our Partner, we're looking for a Sales Senior Manager - Payments with a strong experience in the payment industry particularly in the cards scheme (issuing/ acquiring).
The ideal candidate should also have relevant expertise in sales management and business development activities within said industry.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of the sales acceleration team (seller-side/ Merchant-side presales and sales) to drive business growth
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies and customer value proposition to boost sales for issuing and acquiring products and services
- Develop clients’ portfolios, identify potential prospects and manage commercial networks
- Manage sales activities for different streams/products and services by monitoring and reporting risks and issues (Issue log management)
- Act as a trade-union between cross-functional teams (e.g. sales/marketing)
Requirements:
- At least 8-12 years of experience in payments with a strong focus on sales management
- Strong experience in sales programme management (payments industry)
- Strong experience in pipeline and deal tracking (monitoring and managing the progression of potential sales through each stage of the sales funnel)
- Very good expertise in data management and visualization is preferred
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry with particular focus on cards scheme (e.g. VISA/ MasterCard) both for Issuing and Acquiring
- Deep knowledge of Issuing and Acquiring payments products and services (e.g. credit/debit/prepaid cards and POS/e-commerce)
- Language: Italian at least B2 level, English at least C1 level
Position: Hybrid – potential presence in the UK office on ad hoc base
