We are looking for a Data Scientist to support the development of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions, transforming business data into predictive insights and actionable recommendations.
SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The goal of the position is to support the development of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions that transform business data into predictive insights and actionable recommendations.
The Data Scientist will contribute to the design and implementation of machine learning models, selecting the most appropriate algorithms and approaches based on business needs and data availability.
The role will work closely with Business & Data Analytics, IT, and business departments to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance the company’s analytical capabilities.
POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION:
Report to: IT & Systems Integration Department
Work with: Business & Data Analytics Team, IT Department, ERP Team, Sales,
Service & Marketing, Finance, Production & Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering
ACTIVITIES:
- Analyze business problems and translate them into data science use cases
- Explore and understand data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, IoT, production systems, external data)
- Design, develop, and validate machine learning models
- Select and compare different AI/ML models to identify the most effective solution
- Develop and test models
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate models into production
- Support deployment and monitoring of models
- Maintain documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Education:: University degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar)
- Experience in Data Science / Machine Learning projects
- Experience with real datasets and business problems
- Fluent English
- Regression, classification, clustering, time series
- Model selection and tuning
- Model evaluation and performance metrics
- Problem framing, EDA, feature engineering, modeling, validation
- Scikit-learn
- Generative AI and LLMs awareness
- Basic knowledge of pipelines and cloud (AWS/Azure) and BI Tools
